Brenda Beckwith Biography and Information
Brenda Beckwith serves as vice president, patient care services for Wolfson Children's Hospital. In this role, she provides executive leadership for nursing and patient care services, with responsibility for advancing safe, high-quality care, nursing excellence, patient and family experience, clinical operations and team member engagement.
Prior to joining Wolfson Children's Hospital, Beckwith was vice president, clinical services for Children's Minnesota, where she led enterprise-level clinical operations for more than 900 employees. Her responsibilities included emergency services and Level 1 trauma, perioperative and anesthesia services, cardiovascular services, medical imaging, biomedical engineering and inpatient mental health.
Beckwith earned a Master of Business Administration with a health care focus from Bethel University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from St. Cloud State University.
She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the American Nurses Association and the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing.
Beckwith is married to Adam and they have three children, Tyler, Ryan and Anna. She enjoys traveling with her family, cheering on her children's basketball teams and spending time on the water.
