Baptist Health currently offers virtual and pre-recorded Baby Care Basics classes.

Your baby will soon be here and what an exciting journey ahead. This class is designed to help you with the most important job you will ever have, first time parent. You will learn the practical and essential skills needed for your newborn during the first three months after birth. These skills include:

  • All the basics of infant care from diapering to bathing.
  • Safe swaddling and Safe Sleep guidelines
  • Learning infant massage
  • Comfort cues
  • Feeding tips
  • When to call the doctor
