When emergencies strike, the first few minutes are critical. Basic Life Support (BLS) training equips you with essential skills to respond effectively when advanced medical care isn't immediately available—potentially making the difference between life and death.

In this class you will learn BLS techniques including recognizing and responding to emergency situations, calling for help, performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), using automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and providing basic airway management and breathing assistance.

This course is open to any individual that would like to learn skills that could help save a life. It is especially beneficial to those working with the public or those attending or preparing to attend nursing school.
