Daniella Eslava, 2022-2023
Graduate: University of Central Florida
Undergraduate: University of Central FloridaÂ
Daniella is a double alumnus from the University of Central Florida (UCF) where she obtained her bachelor's degree in health sciences and her master's degree in health administration. During her graduate years at UCF, Daniella served as the vice-chair of the student representatives for the American College of Healthcare Executives of Central Florida Chapter (ACHECF). As vice-chair, she worked on multiple projects including production and execution of a recruitment video that increased ACHE student membership by 50%. To further recruit students, Daniella collaborated with her peers to develop a registered student organization known as "ACHE at UCF." Her passion for management and healthcare led her to an opportunity at a healthcare system as a consumer access specialist under the Pre-Registration department. After 2 months she was promoted to a senior role which enabled her to train new hires and serve as a quality assurance specialist for her team. Daniella created onboarding tools that guided new employees to be trained virtually during COVID-19. This overall increased department goals and productivity by 30% in less than 6 months. Daniella aspires to make a difference at Baptist by bringing her non-profit experiences to serve as a leader at Baptist Health and provide high-quality care to the community. Daniella enjoys dog-sitting, playing soccer, traveling the world and spending time with her loved ones.
