Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is looking for Assistant Nurse Manager (RN) to join our Cardiac Med/Surg (inpatient cardiac telemetry) unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville (Heart Hospital). This opening is for a full-time days shift.

This unit typically see a 6:1 ratio and is accountable for providing care to patients, adult and geriatric alike, who require advanced care. This is a full-time days position. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Assists the Nurse Manager of the Cardiac Med/Surg Unit with unit/area operations.Works closely with direct care personnel to ensure delivery of quality patient care.Facilitates patient throughput. Takes lead role in implementing changes.Supports and coaches unit personnel in development.Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.Staffing and scheduling of unit personnel.

This Assistant Nurse Manager position supporting the Cardiac Med/Surg Unit will be located at Baptist Jacksonville. Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Adult Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
