Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add an Assistant Nurse Manager to the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a full-time rotating Day and Night shift position with a commitment of 36 hours per week.

As an Assistant Nurse Manager you will be Responsible for:

• Providing nursing care to patients on the unit
• The assessment and reassessment of unit function; serves as a liaison for staff, physicians and other departments.
• Providing resource for staff members as well as mentors growth and provides feedback to staff.
• Monitoring/adjusting man hours in accordance with unit budget.
• Assisting manager with disciplinary issues and annual performance reviews.
• Ability to run a fast paced ED with multidisciplinary team
• positive, can-do attitude and clinical expertise in ED and or Critical Care

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

• 3-5 Years Emergency Nursing Experience
• Critical Care Experience

License and Certification

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Trauma Nurse Core Course Certification (TNCC) Preferred
• Certified Emergency Registered Nurse (CEN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
