The Associate AI Project/Product Manager r – AI Focused supports the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and data-driven initiatives that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and strategic outcomes. Reporting to the Manager of IT Products & Programs, this role collaborates with product strategists, analytics leaders, and technical teams to translate AI concepts into practical, scalable, and ethically responsible solutions. Responsibilities span product backlog management, stakeholder engagement, agile execution, performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination, with a strong emphasis on innovation and alignment with Baptist Health’s Strategic Pillars.

Associate AI Project/Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Review and edit projects, communicates with the team, solves the project or products hindering concepts, proposes, and takes all improvements for the project efficiency.
- Manages all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple Disciplines in the IT Function as well as business units across the health system.
- Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met.
- Typically uses Scrum/Agile development techniques and tools for team collaboration, issue tracking and backlog management.
- Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a professional discipline, typically gained through a formal university education.
- Performs routine assignments and focuses on learning how to apply theoretical/conceptual knowledge in practical situations.
- Partner with the Manager of IT Products & Programs to align AI product priorities with organizational goals and ensure cohesive execution across product verticals.
- Collaborate with the Analytics and Decision Science teams to translate AI models and use cases into actionable product roadmaps and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog of AI initiatives informed by business value, strategic alignment, and stakeholder input.
- Coordinate and support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and stakeholder demos for AI-related products.
- Define user stories and clear acceptance criteria to support the development of AI models, tools, and automation solutions
- Participate in Release Management activities to ensure readiness and alignment for AI solution rollouts, including coordination with corporate communications and training teams.
- Track and report performance metrics and KPIs tied to AI outcomes (e.g., accuracy, adoption, clinical/business impact) to ensure continuous improvement and value realization.
- Support cross-training and knowledge-sharing between analytics, development, and operational teams to foster an integrated approach to AI enablement.
- Engage in professional development and stay current on AI trends, ethics, governance, and best practices in healthcare AI implementation.
