Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist to join our EP Lab / Heart Rhythm Center in Jacksonville, FL! This position presents a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures in a state-of-the-art facility. The RCIS must be obtained within 12 months of hire, supported by our dedicated team and resources. This is a full-time day shift opporutnity offering 4 10 hour shifts with a roating day off. Shifts are 6:30am - 5pm.

This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging and procedures. These include tests on cardiovascular systems of patients for diagnostic purposes. This Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist will also conduct or assist in electrocardiograms, catherizations, pulmonary functions.

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist you will be responsible for:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging and procedures
  • Assisting in electrocardiograms, catherizations, and pulmonary functions
  • Preparing EP Lab for acceptance of cardiac patients.

Experience

  • Less than 1 year Cath Laboratory Experience
  • Experience working at another hospital

License and Certification

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
