Baptist is looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant to our AgeWell team.
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Location: Baptist San Marco (other locations as needed)
The AgeWell Department is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support their team. AgeWell services patients 65+ and is growing rapidly at Baptist! This position requires a candidate to have their Medical Assistant Certification as well as strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and flexibility.

As a Certified Medical Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing phlebotomy procedures
- Providing nursing assistance to physician
- Obtaining vital signs
- Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit
- Telephone triage and patient education
- Maintaining medical documentation
- Scheduling care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician
- Processing CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals
- Cross training in front office, referrals area, and other areas

Experience
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
License and Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
