Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants / Health Unit Coordinator to join our ICU, PCU and Med-Surg team. This is a Full Time position working Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm position located at Baptist Medical Center Clay in Fleming Island, FL.

We are looking for Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) assist RNs supporting in the care of patients. Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Additional Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting on the unit
• Ordering, filing, auditing
• Discharge call-backs with patients
• Maintaining a safe environment for patients
• Collecting lab specimens
• Intake and output monitoring
• Electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Answering call lights and telephones promptly;
• Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment;
• Maintaining patient chart folders;
• Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles;
• Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station;
• Payroll functions
• Clerical duties

Preferred: Previous experience in health care setting, 1-2 years of administrative experience. Microsoft office experience including Outlook, Teams, ExCEL, Word, and PowerPoint.

License: BLS Required (AHA) & CNA
