Job Summary
Baptist Health is currently hiring for a Full Time Chaplain CPE Educator to join our Ministry Services Department at our Baptist Beaches location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.
As an ACPE Certified Educator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversees CPE residents and interns
- Facilitate and teach CPE units for all levels
- Collaborate with CPE faculty to develop and implement CPE curriculum and programs.
- Serve on specialty & hospital committees
- Provides Spiritual Care & Counseling, religious resources, support groups, and education for patients, patients' families, hospital staff, and physicians
- Develop efficient follow-up support plans for patients and their families.
- Respond to referrals from nurses, physicians, and local faith leaders
- Education Requirement note- Any Masters level degree must be accredited by Council for Higher Education and have a minimum of 72 hours.
Champlain CPE Educator Experience:
- 3-5 Years Supervisory Fellow Required
- 1-2 years Chaplain/Clergy Experience Required
- 1-2 years Chaplain Resident Required
