Job Summary

Baptist Health, the most preferred health system in Northeast Florida, is currently seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation team at Baptist Clay in Fleming Island, FL.

This is a PRN opportunity with flexible day shift hours, ideal for professionals looking to make a meaningful impact on patients recovering from cardiac-related illnesses while enjoying schedule flexibility.

As a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, you will:

• Provide treatment to Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab patients across Phases I–III

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide individualized treatment plans

• Design and implement exercise prescriptions and facilitate progression based on patient needs

• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including EKG monitoring and interpretation

• Educate patients and families on risk factor management, heart-healthy lifestyles, and long-term wellness

• Complete all required documentation, billing, and coordinate communication with physicians

• 3-5 Years Pulmonary Rehabilitation Experience
• 3-5 Years Clinical Cardiac Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) - ACSM Required Or
• Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) - ACSM Required Or
• Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional (CCRP) Required
