Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center South in Jacksonville, FL is looking for a Clinical Resource Coordinator to support the Cardiology department. This is a Full-Time Days position working in the non-invasive cardiology area.
This employee will be responsible for the direction of nursing activities for all locations of Baptist Heart Specialists. The Clinical Resource Coordinator provides direction for the nurses and nursing sersvices for patients of Baptist Heart Specialists working with the health care team to coordinate services with the medical providers. This is for cardiac testing procedural area, not surgical area.
The main responsibilities of the Clinical Resource Coordinator – Cardiology will be to:
- Identify appropriate resources to provide education to patients, their families, and staff members
- Serve as a direct line of communication to Baptist Health Medical Centers and other health care offices and facilties
- Work closely with the Director of Clinical Operations
- Exercise frequent, independent judgment in monitoring the day-to-day operation of the nurses
