Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for the Baptist Cardiology department at Baptist South! This is a Full-Time Days position from 7:30am - 4:00pm. No Weekends. No Holidays. No on-call. Some travel to other locations is required when needed.

Physician Office RN Responsibilities:

  • Provides nursing assistance to physicians
  • Greets and chaperons patients during medical part of visit
  • Obtains vital signs
  • Maintains medical documentation
  • Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
  • Handles and processes prescriptions and referrals
  • Performs waived test list in laboratory and IV therapy
  • Patient phone triage.

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • Clinical Experience Preferred
