Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a CT Technologist to our Cat Scan Department at our Baptist South Location. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love. Our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsbilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

This is a full-time opportunity with a shift of Monday - Thuersday, 9:00pm - 7:00am.

As a CT Technologist you will be responsible for:

• Performs high quality (CT) procedures.
• Promotes good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

• Less than 1 year Radiologic Technologist Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required Or
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• FL Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
