Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist Nassau Crossing. As a CT Technologist at Baptist, you will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety as this aligns with our mission to make hope, healing, and well-being accessible to every person as an expression of God's love. Additional responsbilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

This is a FULL- TIME role that will work a rotating, flexible shift of 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday on week 1 & then 6:30am - 5:00pm, Tuesday - Friday on week 2. Participation in Call and Holiday rotations is required. This CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients, insuring high quality images and patient safety. The CT Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. In addition to performing CT scans on patients this CT Technologist will prepare patients for CT scans, explain the procedure, and position patients correctly. This CT Technologist will operate CT equipment and adjust setting to obtain high quality images.

This CT Technologist, will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing high quality (CT) procedures.
  • Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
  • Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
  • FL Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
