Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Nassau. A Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is responsible for uses imaging equipment and soundwaves to form images of the bodies organs and tissue. This is a Part-Time, weekends position. Shift differentials are offered!

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing high quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.
• Promoting good will among co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Staying compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Education Required

Vocational School

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience
• 1-2 years Ultrasound Experience
• Experience working in a hospital setting
• Experience with vascular ultrasound

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required Or
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred Or
