Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN, various shifts opportunity.

At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, responsibilities will include:

• Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures.

• Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanour with all patients.

• Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer II, Ultrasound Department, Experience;

• 2 Years of Experience Working in a Hospital Setting

• 2 years Hospital-based department-specific work experience

• 2 years of Ultrasound Experience

• 2 years' experience with vascular ultrasound required

• Customer Service Experience

If hired, must pass certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) within 18 months of hire date.
