Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a dedicated Dispatcher to our team. If you're seeking a rewarding role in a fast-paced, healthcare environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! This position requires availability on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 9:30 PM. Applicants should have experience in patient transportation.
As a Dispatcher, your responsibilities will include:
Managing Patient Transport Requests: You will receive telephone calls from various areas of the Medical Center, ensuring all patient move requests are accurately recorded and promptly addressed.
Handling Calls with Professionalism and Efficiency: You will be expected to manage all incoming calls in a quick, professional manner, ensuring that calls are prioritized based on patient acuity and urgency. Your ability to stay calm and collected under pressure will be key.
Coordinating Patient Escort Staff: You’ll control the flow of the Patient Escort staff throughout the hospital, ensuring they’re deployed efficiently and that patient care is delivered quickly and smoothly across the facility.
