Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Drug Diversion Prevention Specialist in our Protective Services Department.

Location: Baptist Downtown

The Drug Diversion Prevention Specialist primary function is to provide oversight and direction for the system-wide controlled substance diversion management plan for Baptist Health.

As a Drug Diversion Prevention Specialist you will be responsible for:

• Providing oversight and direction for the system-wide controlled substance diversion management plan for Baptist Health.
• Investigating process of suspected drug diversion incidents.
• Reporting to the Executive Director of Protective Services and coordinate all investigations with Risk Management and Director of the involved Pharmacy.
• Working collaboratively with Baptist Health and serve as a resource for physicians, nurses, administrators, and affiliated contractors that handle drugs within the organization by developing continuous improvement plans and education.
• Serving as a liaison within the health system geographic area by working cooperatively with other community organizations, leaders, and law enforcement agencies in addressing drug diversion prevention.
