Maintenance Technician ensures the safe and efficient operation of hospital facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Responsibilities include maintaining HVAC systems, electrical and plumbing systems, and medical equipment to meet regulatory standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively to support a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

As a Facilities Technician you will be responsible for:

  • General maintenance of electrical, mechanical, HVAC,plumbing required to support healthcare buildings.
  • Performs preventative maintenance as assigned.
  • Takes reading and keep records. Responds to customer complaints.
  • Performing corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • Performing regular scheduled preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
  • Completion of work orders and has knowledge of applicable codes.
  • The position is responsible for in depth service of complex equipment such as pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics and many types of hospital equipment.
  • The successful candidate will have service experience with a broad background of equipment and systems; be willing to learn the unique systems and equipment utilized to support healthcare.
  • The Plant Facilities Department is comprised of many different skill-sets working together to provide first class support to the direct care giving team.
