Imaging Supervisor, Radiology Department, Baptist Silverleaf ED

Baptist Medical Center is seeking to add an Imaging Supervisor to our Radiology Department at the Baptist Silverleaf ED location in St. Augustine, FL. Responsible for oversight of all imaging modalities and technical staff. Acts as a positive role model/representative for the department. May be involved in direct patient care and must be competent in credentialed modality. Assures all staff are compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements. Common duties include, but are not limited to, staff scheduling, daily operations oversight, customer service recovery, ensuring annual and emergency equipment service, and verifying current team member and equipment licensure.

As an Imaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising technical and clerical staff.

• Acting as a positive role model/representative for the department.

• Involved in direct patient care and competent in performing routine imaging studies.

• Lead department resource for PACs and EMR.

• Assuring staff are compliant with Employee Health and Risk Management mandatory education requirements.

• Identifies, prepares, administers, and documents medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Preferred Experience:

• 3-5 Years Radiology Experience

• Technologist Experience

• Customer Service Experience

• Experience working in a hospital setting

Licenses and Certifications:

• Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) Required Or

• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required Or

• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or

• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or

• Registered Technologist in Cardiovascular ARRT (CV) Required Or

• Registered Technologist in Magnetic Resonance Imaging ARRT (MR) Required Or

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) Required Or

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
