Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Lead CT Technologist to our CT Scan Department at Baptist Medical Center located in Jacksonville, FL. This lead CT Technologist will be patient facing and plays a crucial role in the imaging department. This lead CT technologist is a key figure in ensuring that the imaging department on the 2nd shift runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering high quality care to patients. In order for this lead CT technologist to be successful that must be skilled in supervsion of day to day operations, technical expertise in CT scans, quality assurance, collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals, providing excellent patient care and equipment maintenance. 

This lead CT technologist is a full-time position with a shift of Monday - Thursday, 12:30pm-11:00pm.

OR call and holiday rotation required.

This Lead CT Technologist's duties will include: 

• Responsible for quality and quantity of procedures performed in CT.
• Assists in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation, insures staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining ACR Accreditation
• This is a working/patient facing leadership position.
• Supervision of staff on the second shift.

• Administrative tasks.

Experience

• 3-5 Years Experience working in a hospital setting
• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Customer Service Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification (CPR) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
