Lead Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, Ultrasound Department, Baptist Nassau

Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Lead Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to our Ultrasound team at our Baptist Nassau location. This is a Full-time, day shift opportunity with a shift of Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 3:00pm.

As a Lead Diagnostic Medical Sonographer you will be responsible for:

• Working in a leadership position.
• Responsible for quantity and quality of procedures performed in Ultrasound.
• Assisting in staff training, performance and equipment evaluation, insures staff compliance with Employee Health and Mandatory Education requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining ACR Accreditation's.
• Identifiing, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

Vocational School

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

• 3-5 Years Experience working in a hospital setting
• 3-5 Years Ultrasound Experience
• Customer Service Experience
• Experience with vascular ultrasound

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Sonography ARRT (S) Required Or
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Songrapher (ARDMS) Required Or
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Preferred Or
• Registered Technologist in Vascular Sonography ARRT (VS) Preferred Or
