Job Summary

The role oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of life support and emergency training programs at Baptist Health, ensuring compliance with American Heart Association (AHA), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) standards. This role manages instructor credentialing, course scheduling, certification issuance, and resource allocation while integrating simulation-based education and in situ mock codes to enhance emergency preparedness. Serving as the primary liaison with the AHA, the position ensures accreditation, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement. Additionally, the role supports community outreach initiatives and promotes Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and emergency response training. Additionally, the role integrates simulation-based methodologies, oversees in situ mock codes, and clinical workflows to enhance emergency response education and improve patient outcomes. Note: AHA Site Coordinator Training is required within 90 days of employment. Experience Note: Two to five years of experience in workplace learning, simulation teaching, or combination of education and experience.
