Job Summary
Baptist Health is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join the Hill Breast Center. This is a PRN Day shift position.
A Mammography Technologist is responsible for ensuring physicians and other members of a patient’s care team receive high-quality images of the breast so they can use to make diagnoses or assess the success of treatments.
Mammography Technologist Responsibilities:
- Performing high-quality screening
- Performing diagnostic and invasive breast procedures
- Performing bone density radiography
Experience Requirements:
- Experience in mammography department Preferred
- Customer Service Experience Preferred
- Experience in Breast Center environment Preferred
- Mammography Technical Professional Experience Preferred
- Bone Density Experience Preferred
Education & Credential Requirements:
- Vocational School
- Registered Technologist in Breast Sonography – ARRT Required Or
- Mammography Certification (M) - ARRT Required Required Or
- Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Required Or
- Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required Or
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA
