Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant II in our Virtual Acute Care Clinic at Baptist Health in Jacksonville, Florida. This opening is a part-time opportunity.

This position is for the Baptist Primary Care Virtual Acute Care Clinic. This position is for back office. The experienced candidate will provide clinical, referral coordination, and office support. This role is pivotal in delivering patient care through telemedicine while ensuring smooth virtual clinic operations.

As a Medical Assistant II, you will be responsible for:

  • Assists providers during virtual patient visits
  • Manage referral processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Support patient communication and administrative tasks
  • Patient education
  • Maintains medical documentation

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

  • 3-5 Years Emergency Care Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Physician Office Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Urgent Care Experience Required
  • 3-5 Years Internal Medicine Experience Required

License and Certification

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
