Baptist MD Anderson is currently looking for an energetic and dynamic Certified Medical Assistant to join our Breast Oncology Outpatient team at our Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center - Clay Campus. This is a Full-Time Days position with 8-hr shifts Monday through Friday. This CMA will need to float to other BMDA Clinics located Downtown and at Baptist South as needed.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Outpatient Oncology Job Responsibilities:
- Provides nursing assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperons patients during medical visit
- Responsible for telephone triage and patient education
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, and diagnostic tests, per physician
- Processes CLIA waived tests, prescription requests, and referrals
- Cross trains in front office, referrals area, and other areas

Experience
- Over 5 years Patient Care Experience
- Experience in Physician's office
License and Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
