Baptist Health is looking to add Medical Assistants to our Primary Care Offices in Jacksonville, Florida and surrounding areas.
Candidates will be primarily responsible for back office tasks for a provider, including rooming patients, prior authorizations of medications, assisting with incoming calls and working Workques. Experience in various specialites is welcome. Certification is a plus but not required.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Providing nursing assistance to physician
- Obtaining vital signs
- Greeting and chaperoning patients during medical visit
- Maintaining medical documentation
- Scheduling care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processing prescription requests and referrals

Experience
- 3-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
- 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Preferred
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
