Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab team at Baptist Medical Center Clay. This is a day shift opportunity working Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for:

• Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.

• Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.

• Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.

• Utilizing computer functions.

Medical Laboratory Assistant II Experience:

• Experience Working in a Healthcare Setting

• Phlebotomy Experience

• Specimen Processing Experience

Education & Credential Requirements:

• High School Diploma Required
