Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist South in Jacksonville Beach, FL. This is a Full-Time Days position working 5 days per week with shifts of 8:00am-4:30pm. Weekends and holidays will be included.
We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients
  • Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards
  • Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments
  • Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols
  • Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns

Experience
