Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a compassionate, capable, and team-oriented Mobility Technician to join our Nursing Support team at Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a PRN Days position.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment and focus on providing quality patient care. Mobility Technicians assist nursing staff in supporting the mobility needs of patients.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist clinical staff in the safe repositioning, ambulation, and transfer of patients

  • Utilize patient handling equipment such as lifts, slide sheets, and transfer boards

  • Respond to mobility requests from nursing and rehabilitation departments

  • Support fall prevention strategies and early mobility protocols

  • Document patient mobility activities in accordance with hospital policies

  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.

Associate's Degree

Experience

  • Less than 1 year Experience working in healthcare setting Required

License and Certification

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
