Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a CT Technologist to our CT Scan department at Baptist ED Oakleaf located in Jacksonville, Florida. The CT Technologist will work the Full-Time. shift of Friday - Sunday, 9:00am - 9:30pm. Shift differentials are offered for this position This CT Technologist will be responsible for performing CT scans on patients, insuring high quality images and patient safety. The CT Technologist will work closely with Radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information. In addition to performing CT scans on patients this CT Technologist will prepare patients for CT scans, explain the procedure, and position patients correctly. This CT Technologist will operate CT equipment and adjust setting to obtain high quality images.

This CT Technologist, will be responsible for the following:

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures.
• Promoting good will amongst co-workers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner in accordance with state, and federal regulations or Lawful institutional policy.

• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
• 1-2 years Experience working in a hospital setting Required
• 1-2 years Experience in one other imaging modality Required

License and Certification

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Required
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Registered Technologist ARRT (CV) Preferred
• Registered Technologist in Vascular-Interventional Radiography ARRT (VI) Preferred
• Registered Technologist in Mammography ARRT (M) Preferred
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Preferred
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required
• Licensed Medical Imaging Technologist Required
