Nerve Conduction Technologist, Neurology Department
A Nerve Conduction Technician performs diagnostic tests to evaluate nerve function and identify abnormalities in the nervous system. Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating specialized equipment, recording test results, and ensuring accurate documentation for physician review. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.This Neurophysiology Technologist will perform one or more of the following procedures in a clinical setting: Nerve Conduction Studies or Electroencephalography. This is a Full-Time position with a possibility for Part-Time shift as well M-F 8:00 am-5:00 pm at Baptist Beaches..
As a Nerve Conduction Technologist, you will be responsible for:
- Working closely with Neurology, Neurosurgery and Critical Care to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests.
- Performing Nerve Conduction Studies, EEG, IONM, or EMG.
- Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for enhancement of patient care. Lead Technologist duties will vary based on department.

Experience
- One Year Nerve Conduction Study Experience Preferred
- One Year EEG Experience Preferred
License and Certification
- Registered Nerve Conduction Technologist Preferred
- Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) Preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
