Baptist Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, in our Imaging department, at Baptist South located in Jacksonville, FL. This opportunity offers flexible, various shifts and the chance to work with an experienced, collaborative imaging team while making a difference in the lives of patients and families. This is a PRN opportunity.

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will:

• Administer radioactive medications to patients and perform nuclear medicine diagnostic imaging procedures

• Operate nuclear medicine equipment to capture images and assist physicians in diagnosing disease

• Ensure compliance with Florida Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials regulations

• Maintain patient safety by minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and staff

• Prepare, calibrate, and sterilize syringes and supplies for imaging procedures

• Educate and prepare patients for scans and provide compassionate, professional care

• Complete accurate imaging reports and contribute to quality patient outcomes

Qualifications of a Nuclear Medicine Teach:

• Required: Florida Nuclear Medicine Technologist license

• Required: Current certification through ARRT (N) or CNMT

• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and compliance standards

• Excellent patient care and communication skills
