Position Overview

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP)Supportive Care Department. to work in our The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in oncology and supportive/palliative care.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Patient population: Providing care for adult patients with malignant and complex oncologic conditions who need symptom and supportive care management in coordination with their primary oncologic physician.
  • Outpatient Care: Evaluates existing patients in collaboration with staff physicians, as well as a multidisciplinary team, completes outpatient documentation in a timely fashion, and performs clinic procedures as applicable. Supports symptom and pain management, advanced care planning and palliative care.
  • Hours: Monday – Friday

  • 1-2 years of experience in oncology or palliative care medicine preferred

License and Certification

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program 
  • Current Florida licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • DEA at time of hire
