We are looking to add an Office Specialist at Baptist Cardiology, located at Baptist Pavilion in downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

As the Office Specialist, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. It is vital that this candidate is adept with multi-tasking and being people-oriented, as they could make or break the patient's experience.

The Office Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Check in and check out
  • Scanning documents
  • Assisting patients as needed
  • Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims
  • Processing mail on a daily basis
  • Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers
  • Assisting with referrals as needed
