Baptist Medical Center is hiring an Office Specialist I for the Behavioral Health Outpatient Department located at our Baptist Jacksonville-Downtown campus. This is a Full Time days opportunity working M-F from 8:30am to 5:00pm in office.

The Office Specialist will support the Adult Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs. These programs are virtual however, the position is located at our downtown campus and supports our Bridge Clinic and Pediatric PHP/IOP programs when needed. This position requires an individual who can multitask, is responsive, initiate tasks on their own and able to work fairly autonomously.

As an Office Specialist for Outpatient Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing business services for patients and the healthcare system.
  • Ensuring accurate patient registration.
  • Posting patient charges and payments.
  • Operating a multi-line phone system while maintaining telephone protocols.
  • Assisting patients as needed.
