Patient Access Representative II, Baptist Beaches

Job Summary

*Up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus

Baptist Beaches is currently hiring for a Patient Access Rep II to join our ED Department at our Baptist Beaches location here in the Jacksonville, FL area.

Shift Details: Sunday - Tuesday 7am-7:30pm

As a Patient Access Rep II, you will be responsible for:

• Registering patients accurately and efficiently
• Utilizing multiple systems and interfaces Cross-Trained in order to work in multiple patient access areas
• Maintaining service excellence to patients and visitors for face-to-face and telephonic encounters
• Contributing to PAS Goals as defined annually
• Possessing a strong understanding of State and Federal regulations including EMTALA, AHCA, and JCAHO
• Maintaining a professional relationship with all clinical and non-clinical team members
• Articulating compliance documentation and ensure completion of required patient consent forms
• Maintaining patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
• *BLS CPR certification within 30 days of hire for ED positions.

Education Required

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree

Experience

• 1-2 years Customer Service Experience Required
• 1-2 years Insurance Experience Required
• 1-2 years Healthcare Experience Required

License and Certification

• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Preferred
