Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Food Services Lead to our Dietary Department at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a full-time opportunity.

Baptist South is serving the rapidly growing neighborhoods in southern Duval and northern St. Johns counties. The hospital blends resort-like amenities with the most advanced medical care, providing for the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of patients and their families.

As the Food Services Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the smooth flow of operations
  • Assisting the Dietary Supervisor with the day-to-day activities of the team
  • Working department positions as needed to accomplish goals
  • Orienting and training team members to the meet department standards
  • Conducting patient visits as assigned within the timeframe established by leadership
  • Providing recognition for team members
  • Resolving Food and Nutrition issues that do not meet standards and ensures Food and Nutrition tasks are followed up on and completed in a timely manner
  • Supervising shifts as needed
