Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Pharmacist to our decentralized Pharmacy at Baptist South, located in Jacksonville FL. This is a full time position working various shifts: days, evenings, and weekends.
As the Pharmacist, you would be responsible for:
- Enters orders with great accuracy.
- Checks technician work for accuracy prior to release of medications and solutions to the floor.
- Supervises technicians and serves on committees as assigned.
- Answers questions for all health care professionals.
- Serves as a consultant for members of the medical staff. Monitors patient therapy as assigned, including pharmacokinetics service.
- Pharmacokinetic dosing, antimicrobial stewardship and skills for care of critically ill, adult patients will be used each evening.
- Professional interaction with ICU intensivists, critical care RNs and respiratory therapists required each work day.

- 1-2 years Hospital Pharmacy Experience
- 1-2 years Experience with Automated Dispensing Devices
- Residency Training

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
- Registered Pharmacist Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Licensed Pharmacist Required
