Job Summary
Baptist Medical Center seeking an Operations Manager in our Pharmacy at Baptist South. This is a full time, day shift, opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess clinical and operational inpatient pharmacy experience which allows for teaching and growth of the pharmacy team. Lean six sigma skills a plus. Residency trained Pharmacist is preferred.
As a Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising inpatient operations of the pharmacy department.
- Oversight of scheduling and time keeping.
- Overseeing controlled substance processes and ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
- Assists Director with recruiting and retaining qualified pharmacists and registered pharmacy technicians.
- Assists Director with regulatory, quality and medication safety processes.
- Oversees departmental Quality Improvement initiatives.
