Job Summary

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician to our team at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. This is a full-time opportunity working various shifts. This pharmacy technician will be responsible for filling our Omincell automated dispensing cabinet, delivering medications to different floors, and packaging medications in the central pharmacy. This pharmacy technician will also be spending 3-4 hours in the IV room making sterile compounds. This is a great opportunity to gain more hospital experience as a pharmacy technician and will have a training period of 3-4 weeks depending on previous experience.

As an IV Admix Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Pharmacist on duty.
  • Compounding of IV admixtures.
  • Filling automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes.
  • Basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.
  • Packaging of medications.

All activities will be under the supervision of a Florida-licensed Pharmacist.

A PTCB certification is a plus but not required. Hospital and IV room experience is required.
