Job Summary

Baptist Health is seeking to add a Pulmonary Department Supervisor to our team at Baptist Medical Center Nassau located in Fernandina Beach, FL. This is a full-time, day-shift opportunity.

At Baptist Health, the Pulmonary Department Supervisor plays a vital leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of respiratory and pulmonary care. This position oversees daily departmental operations, provides clinical guidance, and supports staff in delivering safe, high-quality care to patients with respiratory conditions.

As a Pulmonary Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

• Supervising daily activities of the Pulmonary Department, including staff scheduling, evaluations, and equipment management.

• Providing and overseeing respiratory care procedures and medication administration, including both invasive and non-invasive ventilation.

• Assisting with intubations, bronchoscopies, and the safe transport of critical care patients.

• Performing arterial, venous, and capillary blood sampling and analysis.

• Serving as a clinical resource and mentor to respiratory therapists and other healthcare team members.

• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.
