Baptist Medical Center is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Imaging Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL..This role is a Full-time Day shift opportunity that takes place Monday through Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm

This Radiology Technologist will be responsible for:

  • Performing high-quality radiographic procedures.
  • Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients.
  • Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift.
  • Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements.
  • Comfortable with Pediatrics
  • Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or Lawful institutional policy.

Education Required

High School Diploma/GED

Education Preferred

Associate's Degree

Experience

  • None Customer Service Experience
  • None Radiology/Imaging Experience
  • None Experience working in a hospital setting

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography ARRT (CI) Required Or
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT Required Or
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Required Or
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist Required Or
