Baptist South is currently hiring for a Full-Time Days Referrals Coordinator to join our Revenue Cycle Adult Outpatient Rehab Department at our Baptist OPC location (1235 San Marco Blvd, Ste 300) in the Jacksonville, FL area.

The Referrals Coordinator will oversee the rehab clinic at the Baptist Jacksonville location here in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role you will be accessing multiple programs in the system and prepping paperwork for the future new patients to complete. When patients arrive you will be checking them in and out and scheduling appointments. You will need to be comfortable collecting payments from patients and depositing and working reports. This position is strictly for scheduling, registration, referrals, and insurance verification. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical scheduling, insurance experience, and not only be team orientated, but have compassion and be empathetic since you will directly be working with patients.

As a Referrals Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Payment collections and working closely with therapists
  • Providing referral assistance to physicians, patients, and insurance companies.
  • Maintaining medical documentation.
  • Scheduling appointments.
  • Processing referrals.
