Job Summary

Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Critical Care/COPS department at the Heart Center in Jacksonville, FL! This is a PRN, Days shift opportunity, working one 12 hour shift Monday-Friday 6:30am-7:00pm. No call or weekends required!

As a Registered Nurse in our Electrophysiology (EP) lab, you'll be a vital part of a team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through innovative procedures and advanced technologies.

As a Heart Center Critical Care RN, you will be responsible for:

• Assessing Heart Center patient, including evaluating, continuous monitoring, interpreting, communicating and recording patient conditions
• Coordinates with physician's office, other RNs, laboratory, dietary, x-ray, pharmacy and other areas of hospital
• COPS RN perform TEEs, cardioversions, Tilt Table tests and pharmacological stress tests
• Cath Lab RN, if applicable, may cross train with EP/Pacemaker/ICD RN

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Experience

• 2 years Critical Care Experience

License and Certification

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
