Baptist Healthis seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at our Heart Center in Jacksonville, FL! This is a Full-time Days shift opportunity, working 6:30am-5:00pm. No call or weekends required!

As a Registered Nurse in our Electrophysiology (EP) lab, you'll be a vital part of a team committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes through innovative procedures and advanced technologies.

As an Registered Nurse in our Electrophysiology (EP) lab your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing care to patient during procedures.
  • Evaluating patient readiness before procedure and communicate any concerns to performing Physician.
  • Collaborating with pre procedure nurse to ensure patient has been prepped, educated, and is ready for their procedure.
  • Providing continuous assessment and support during procedures such as Ablations and implantation of cardiac devices.
  • Crossing training to full fill the scrub and monitor role during electrophysiology procedures, IE: scrub with physician at procedure table to assist, record and document procedures as they are performed.
  • Wear leaded aprons during procedures.
  • Assisting transport the patient to recovery bay with anesthesia
  • Providing moderate sedation during some procedures that are not covered by anesthesia
  • Providing hand off communication to receiving RN in recovery bay, and other receiving areas for post care.

Bachelor's Degree

Education Preferred

Master's Degree

Experience

  • 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
  • 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
  • Hospital Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
  • Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
  • Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
