Job Summary
Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse to our Endoscopy Unit at Baptist Clay. This is a PRN position.
As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy Unit you will be responsible for:
- Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
- Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
- Knowledge of all areas of care to Gastroenterology and conscious sedation
- Ability to perform patient assessments pre/post procedure
- This position requires call
- Must live 40 minutes from hospital.

Education Required
Associate's Degree - Nursing
Education Preferred
Bachelor's Degree - Nursing
Experience
- 2-3 years Surgical Services Experience
- 2-3 years Critical Care Nursing Experience
License and Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
- Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) Preferred Or
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred Or
- Licensed Registered Nurse Required
