Job Summary

Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy unit at Baptist Nassau. This opening is for a PRN days position.

As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy unit you will be reponsible for:

  • Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
  • Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
  • Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and the anticipation of needs of the case
  • Assisting the primary RN with admission, discharge and transfers as needed
  • Completing the admission assessment and skin check for all new admits
  • Call is required for this role

Education Required

Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred

Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience

  • 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience
  • Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

License and Certification

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse Required
